The original roof covering had been removed some 40 years ago and replaced with asbestos slates, which had reached the end of their design life; the front prophet gutter and cappings had also begun to leak.  To the rear, the EPDM flat roof covering was badly split and had an insufficient fall. 

Our work involved, 

• Preparation of Specification of Works 

• Liaising with Third-Party accredited asbestos removal companies to ensure the safe removal and certification of the roof covering 

• Placing the contract with a suitably qualified contractor 

• Overseeing the works to completion
